24 Killed in Iranian Embassy Bomb Blast; Iran Accuses Israel.

24 were killed and dozens more injured after twin bombs exploded outside the Iranian Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. Responsibility for the attack was quickly claimed by a local Al-Qaeda affiliate, the Abdullah Azzam brigades. The scene, as you can see in photos below, was littered with debris, smoldering rubble, and bodies of the dead and wounded. For some, it probably brings back memories of the blood-soaked Lebanese Civil War, which raged through the 1980s and obliterated nearly all semblances of society in Lebanon for nearly a decade. This is a ominous sign that violence from the ongoing Syrian Civil War is beginning to spill over into Lebanon.

Despite Al-Qaeda’s immediate claim of responsibility, the Iranian Government was quick to instead denounce Israel as the mastermind behind the attacks. As SBS News reports:

Iran’s foreign ministry accused Israel of carrying out deadly double blasts outside the Islamic republic’s embassy in Beirut that killed one of its diplomats… The explosions occurred in the Bir Hassan neighbourhood, a stronghold of the Shiite movement Hezbollah, which has already seen its bastions in southern Beirut targeted with blasts twice this year.

The bombings were “an inhuman crime and spiteful act done by Zionists and their mercenaries,” ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said in remarks carried by the official IRNA news agency.

These Al-Qaeda affiliated groups are being funded by the CIA. They are being paid to combat Iranian influence in the region. Meanwhile, Israel may or may not have anything to do with it. It would be to the Israeli Government’s advantage to make use of anti-Iranian militant groups in the fog of the Syrian Civil War. This would allow them to combat the influence of arch-rival Iran while maintaining a cover of innocence. What would happen if the Al-Qaeda affiliated groups came out on top in the Syrian Civil War? Will they suddenly produce a wonderful and loving Mid-East satellite state? If the below pictures are any indication, not likely. The USA should flee from this insanity and leave the Mid-East to it’s own devices. I encourage any and all peace-loving immigrants to leave this madness behind and join us in America.
